Sharing Plates
Perfect for social gatherings, corporate events, and celebrations, our sharing plates offer a beautifully arranged selection of local, fresh, high-quality ingredients designed for sharing. Each plate is thoughtfully curated with a mix of flavours and textures, making it an ideal choice for casual mingling or as a stylish center piece for your event.

Buffet catering is always a hit, everyone can choose what they like and can even go back for seconds - no empty stomachs and half eaten plates of food. With a massive selection of delicious hot and cold options, our buffet catering selection is sure to have something to please even the pickiest of eaters.

Our BBQ buffet menu features a selection of gourmet BBQ items including sausages, minute steaks, lamb chops and chicken thighs. This package is suitable for any occasion and includes salads, bread and condiments.

Our breakfast buffet menu is ideal for groups, featuring a selection of hot and cold options to suit all tastes and preferences. This package is a great option for visiting sports groups, bus tours, business groups and workshops, end of year functions and A.

Bites Selection
Our bites selection is our finger food menu - carefully designed by our team of chefs as an “easy to eat” canapé style or a more filling bites selection. This gives you the opportunity to choose the pieces and dishes you want for your stand-up event.
Small Bites
Perfect for cocktail receptions, networking events, or as a light starter before a meal. Each bite is packed with flavor and designed to be enjoyed while mingling.
Small bites are $5 per item. We recommend three to four items per person, with a minimum order of 10 people.
Filling Bites
Designed for conferences, working lunches, and corporate meetings, our filling bites offer a satisfying and convenient catering option that keeps your team energised and focused. Each bite is crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, perfect for a light yet fulfilling meal.
From $8 per person. We recommend 1-2 items per person. Minimum order: 10 people.

Great place for bigger group or a catch up. We enjoyed a brunch and I honestly couldn't choose from all the nice food that was displayed. A+ service, food and location. We had our staff christmas party recently at No5 Cafe & Larder. We hired the function room which was a lovely set up, very spacious and the flow onto the deck was great! The general atmosphere at No5 was excellent, Staff very friendly and efficent and the meal was perfect. Thank you to Johnny and his staff for making it a great night for all involved, A+++

We used No.5 Cafe and Larder after our first choice in Havelock North changed the menu and pricing on us. This proved to be the best decision ever. No.5 were very friendly and accommodating to all of our friends and family. The platters were great and plenty of them. We were able to use the driving range while we were mingling with our families. This was great fun even the young children loved it. We would recommend No.5 to anyone wanting to have a get together with family and friends. We will definately visit again. Show less
